Which printers are supported?
Any printer running OctoPrint, Klipper/Moonraker, Bambu Lab (via local bridge), or standard Marlin serial. More integrations are added regularly.
Do I need a Printago subscription for queue management?
Yes — PrintFarmDesk integrates with Printago for job queuing and auto-routing rather than building its own queue engine. You'll need an active Printago account for those features. We made this choice deliberately: Printago has a proven queue engine; we focus on the business and monitoring layer on top.
Will you support other queue systems besides Printago?
Yes. Printago is the first queue integration. OrcaSlicer Cloud, Bambu Connect, and 3DPrinterOS queue support are on the roadmap. We'll keep adding integrations based on what our users actually use.
Do I need cloud connectivity?
The cloud version is the easiest way to get started. Enterprise customers can deploy PrintFarmDesk fully on-premise — no data leaves your network.
How is this different from SimplyPrint?
SimplyPrint is a great monitoring tool. PrintFarmDesk adds the business layer on top: cost tracking, margin analysis, order management, and customer history — and connects your existing queue system (like Printago) into a single view.
